Goblin’s RAW is a model that somehow changes one of the features of the GOBLIN.
In fact, the RAW is the first Goblin model with an aluminum tail boom.
Our challenge was to try to make a model with an aluminum tube in an original and functional way.
During the design of the RAW we looked for the most innovative and avant-garde solutions. Then we worked hard on adding an Original design.

Fuselage
The "G" of the "G"oblin logo is recreated by the special design of the canopy and frames. For SAB, the search for small details is always very important.
POWER TRAIN
Power train is fully enclosed in an aluminum case. Helical gears, Delrin swashplate guide, separate top bearing. We looked for the most innovative and avant-garde solutions.
ROTOR HEAD
Ultra-light, 7075 aluminum alloy highly adjustable rotor head. The head allows for a very broad range of dampening setups. The dampers are composed of 3 O-rings (these define the rigidity) and a techno polymer damper (that defines the maximum possible movement of the spindle). Using different O-ring and dampers you can setup a different feeling of the model. The blade grips are made from 7075 T6 Aluminum and the blade grip arms are made from 6061 Aluminum. In a crash you can bend the arm, but you will never damage the blade grip. Using one M4 screw to mount the arm makes it very easy to replace it.
TAIL ROTOR
An ultra-light tail case with quick and easy tail fin replacement. Very simple, strong, reliable & durable. Large diameter tail drive pulleys allow for maximum efficiency in power transfer. Boom is made from 6082 aluminum alloy, it is 35mm in diameter, extremely light and rigid.
BATTERY HATCH
The concept which the RAW is based upon includes an innovative, minimal canopy design mounted permanently to the frame. Access to the battery tray is done through a front hatch. The open canopy design ensures optimal cooling for all components and gives a technical and attractive design.
TENSIONING TAIL BELT TOOL
A special tool included in the kit makes it very easy to tighten the tail belt to the proper tension.
