Solvent-free, high-strength, low-viscosity, oil-resistant and anaerobically curing adhesive based on a di-methacrylate ester. Temperature application range: -60 °C to +150 °C.
For fastening coaxial joining parts such as bearings, bushes, shafts and hubs as well as for joining plastic or rubber/metal or metal/metal surfaces.
Application
Roughly remove impurities such as oil films, dirt, paint or other coatings from the parts to be joined to ensure optimum fastening of the parts to be joined. Wet the parts to be joined and then join them together.
A distinction must be made between active and passive materials in terms of curing time. Active materials are metals with a high iron or copper content (e.g. iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze). Active materials ensure rapid hardening. Passive materials such as high-alloy (stainless) steel, zinc, aluminum or plastics cure very slowly or only with the help of an activator.
Other information
Due to the anaerobic properties, there must always be enough air in the bottle. Otherwise the adhesive may cure prematurely. The bottle can therefore only be filled up to approx. 1/3 full. However, the filling quantity always corresponds to the content indicated on the container.
